Stuart has not only found himself but he finds others too. Stuart is a volunteer Search & Rescue Technician Team Leader with Arrowsmith Search & Rescue donating his time finding lost and injured people in the BC outdoors. Prior to becoming an advisor in 2009 Stuart spent 10 years with Franklin Templeton as a Regional Vice President in British Columbia. Before that he was a Broker Consultant with Liberty Life in Johannesburg, South Africa. The Kirk family emigrated to Canada in 1998 and are proud to be Canadians. Stuart holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation and has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry.
Ron Hickey, CFA, CFP®

Ron is the analytical slice of our pie. He thinks in probabilities, but communicates in simple analogies. He jumped the pond to live in the big city (Vancouver) for a number of years, but is, and always will be, an Islander at heart. No surprise, he was a Research Analyst for one of the largest teams at Raymond James in Canada responsible for hand selecting investments for various portfolios. He prides himself on being a lifelong learner. Ron has a Business Degree (BBA) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations. In 2017, he and his wife found their way home to Vancouver Island to start a family.
Jackie Hickey, CPA, CA, CFP®

Leave the details to Jackie. Deep in the weeds, Jackie reads every process, every manual and even every page of the Income Tax Act. But before finding the financial service industry, she was in fashion design – measuring twice, cutting once. At Trademark, Jackie takes the lead on personal income tax return preparation and tax planning for our clients. With her ability to file income taxes, as well as make financial projections as it relates to our client’s financial plans, she is in a unique position to provide comprehensive advice.

Louise is an expert Pickleball player and dog walker. Previously Louise worked at a private school in Vancouver as the registrar. Louise has built deep relationships with our clients over the years. She too is a foodie and enjoys the odd glass of red Vino. She loves seeing the world and still wants to go to Scandinavia….(take note Stuart).
Shauna King
Administrative Assistant
Shauna, originally from the Emerald Isle, brings the luck and charm of the Irish to Trademark Wealth Management. Since calling BC home, she has completed a Diploma in Business Administration and has earned the nickname “Investigation Shauna” by her friends and family. Trademark is thrilled to have Shauna on our team as she has outstanding attention to detail and is determined to research any topic that requires further investigating. While not in the office, Shauna can be found enjoying the outdoors with her partner, Dave, their three-year-old son, Caleb, and Kilo (a Yorkshire Terrier who also made the trip from Ireland).

Meet Jordan, a graduate from the University of Northern BC with a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, majoring in Finance. His commitment to continual learning is evident as he is currently preparing for the CFA exams, a step towards deepening his financial expertise. With an unwavering enthusiasm for guiding others towards financial freedom, he consistently applies his skills to benefit our clients. Away from the spreadsheets and financial plans, Jordan is an avid weightlifter, demonstrating a unique blend of physical strength and mental tenacity.
